The Regional Art and History Museum.

The Museum of History and Art was opened in 7 august 1946. The fund have more then 120 thousand storage units expositions are devoted to the nature of Kaliningrad oblast, to the history and art of area. The museum runs the expositions: “Museum «Prussia»”, “Rescue of a legendary archeological collection of Europe”, the photo-exhibition “Celau - The lost world”, the photo-exhibition of Sergey Lubkin “ the Requiem by Cosovo”, “Kaliningrad is my destiny (life)” ( the national Ukrainian culture in Kaliningrad), the regional children’s exhibition of painting “Enter this world with love”.

The Amber Museum.

In the museum is collected the unique amber samples, exposition of amber products. You will know about the history of origin and mining of this astonishing mineral, about the properties of amber and the methods of decorative treatment. The exposition reflects the history of the famous Amber Room and exhibits its snippets.

World Ocean Museum.

The only in Russia World Ocean Museum invites you to the exhibitions: “Following the routes of marine expeditions” and “Vityaz- a scientific leader” through research laboratories of the vessel. The exhibition “ Space Odysseya” on the board of the research ship “Cosmonaut Victor Patsaev” will tell you about the history of space scientific research. You can appreciate the submariner’s courage if you visit ”B-413” submarine. Permanent exhibitions: “From the history of the Russian Submarine Fleet”, “the Giants of the Ocean”, “Travel by sea ground” and children’s interactive exhibition “Riddles of the ocean”.

Museum “Blindazh” (Lasch Bunker).
The exposition is devoted to the storm of the city- fortess by soviet troops in April 1945.

The Kaliningrad Regional Art Gallery.

The most occidental Russia’s gallery was opened in 1988. Since then it has been developing as a contemporary art museum.
Permanent exhibitions: the soviet time’s collections of painting, the art works by Kaliningrad artists, the art of Earsten Prussia. The Gallery is the initiator of the International project – “ Biennale of Graphics «Kaliningrad – Konigsberg»”, Biennale “the tradition and contemporaniety”. The gallery exhibits loans from the eminent Russian and Europeen galleries.

Fort № 5
Regional fund "Private museum of the fortification and defense technology Fort № 5"
This museum was opened in 1979 on the basis of fort’s construction № 5. The exposition shows you the events of fort’s storm “The King Friedrich Wilhelm” by soldiers of Soviet army in April 1945.

"Fridlandskiye vorota" museum

Situated inside of Fridland Gate – memorial of architecture of 17th century. Regular expositions about the past and the present of Kaliningrad, the unique collection late XIX-early XX century armoury and household goods of people of the Eastern Prussia, Koenogsberg enterprises.

Cathedral museum complex

Today, as in the past, the Cathedral - memorial of the north-Germanic gothic style, became clerical and cultural center of the town. In the towers there are Kant Museum and Cathedral Museum, exhibitions: "History of Kneiphof Island", "Cathedral. New-born from Ruins" and "I.Kant. Koenigsberg. Albertina (1544-1945)". The great philosopher's Immanuel Kant grave is near the Cathedral wall.

Kaliningrad Zoo

There are about 400 species of animals presented in the Kaliningrad Zoo. Conditions maximally approximated to natural were provided here for animals. Its entire territory is a richest dendropark. Cosy nooks and streets of nature in the ceneter of the town will remain in memory of children and their parents.

The Botanical garden
The history of Botanical garden begins from 1904. There is an arboretum, a dendronursery, two complex of greenhouse, the collection of open soil, a parcel of natural landscape with a lake. The visitors have an opportunity to walk along the thickets of the exotic trees and parterres brought from different places of the world.

Museum of Palace of culture of the Baltic Navy

The building of the museum was built in 1901. The exposition finds home in 6 halls. It shows: armaments, ship models, banners, war decorations, documentary photographs, amenities telling you about 300 years of Baltic Navy history. The main museum fund has about 10727 items. In the show -room you can see the exposition about the history of the town of Pillau (Baltijsk)

House- Museum of H. Brachert (Otradnoye settlement, town of Svetlogorsk)

The memorial house – the house of German sculptor Herman Brachert was set up (created) in 1993, in the house of sculptor. There are 406 exhibits; two of them are the sculptures. In the museum are held the international conferences, the exhibitions, the pleinairs of the young sculptors, and the meetings with the poets, musicians, and historians. The Park of the sculptures is created on the territory of the museum.

The museum of the nature (Svetlogorsk)

The museum of the nature is situated in the forestry of Svetlogorsk. The original and rich botanical garden surrounds this museum. The collection of the garden is in possession of 71 arboreal plants which was brought from different continents.
